Áron Dóbisz graduated as an organist and organ teacher from the Faculty of Music of the University of Szeged in 2007. In 2011, he completed his studies as a piano teacher at the same university. In 2006, he studied in Italy on an Erasmus scholarship, an experience that contributed significantly to his international artistic development. He has received prizes at numerous Hungarian and major European organ competitions and was awarded the Grand Prize at the Szeged Organ Competition in 2006.
As a concert organist, Áron Dóbisz has performed in numerous countries throughout Europe, as well as in Canada and the United States. His repertoire places particular emphasis on 20th-century Hungarian organ music, alongside the broader European organ tradition.
Since 2019, he has formed an organ–trumpet duo with trumpeter and flugelhorn player Bence János Samodai. Their programs combine the monumental sound of the pipe organ with the brilliance of the trumpet. Their first recording, featuring Baroque masterpieces, was released on Spotify in 2020.
His artistic career combines concert performance, international collaboration, music education and a strong commitment to the Hungarian organ repertoire.
